This 528hz bowl is a High C note. We often receive requests for High C note bowls because it begins the next octave and makes a great addition to a 7pc set of bowls. Because it is a High C note and because it is a 528hz bowl, it is going to have a higher frequency. Higher frequencies have shorter wavelengths and so the resonance isn't as long, but the balance is that they have increased strength and amplitude. We include a mallet with the High C note bowl but also recommend acrylic strikers for this type of bowl. Vibration is a spectrum, so it is advantageous to have high and low frequency sound instruments.
